At ROOTS, we believe that the next generation of our community have the capacity to change the world. We support this vision through a positive youth development approach, where young people are supported in ways that recognize them for their strengths rather than their weaknesses.

To guarantee the safety and positive support of the teens who visit us we conduct CORI and SORI checks on all Volunteer Candidates.

Requirements:

  • Have a positive attitude about the youth in our community.

  • Must be 18+

  • Submit CORI/SORI Check

  • Attend an annual 2-hour training and orientation

  • Willing to complete 2 Drop-In Shifts per month, at least two hours per shift

    • Note: Drop-In is held on Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:30-7pm
